What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receipt Inspector position at Holtec International?
Role and Responsibilities
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for but not limited to, performing Dimensional inspections on projects in addition to other non-NDE activities that may be requested.
Conduct Receipt inspections in accordance with written procedures and acceptance criteria then complete applicable paperwork.
Conduct mechanical inspections using hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures and complete applicable paperwork.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings correctly.
Issue non-conformances reports for discrepant items and tag the items appropriately.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical (dimensional) inspector.
Successful applicant will have a systematic approach to work, be detail oriented and able to finish assignments with little supervision.
Good computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Access).
Excellent communication skills, organizational and time management skills.
Good teamwork skills, participating in team environment.
Willing and capable of standing the entire shift.
Willing and capable of working Off-Shifts to support company needs.
Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
Must have experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with safety procedures and principles to support working in a safe environment
PERFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Currently qualified (or documented experience with) Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for precision geometrical dimensional inspections (GD&T) such as FARO laser trackers and/or Arms.
