JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Security Supervisor reports to the Security Manager. The Senior Security Supervisor is responsible for reviewing the day-to-day operations of the plant security program, developing and/or revising security operating procedures, and reviewing and approving audit/inspection reports. This position is also responsible for driving department standards and standardization by driving site and fleet procedural compliance.

Independently verifies that department communications are received and understood at all levels of the organization, and reports results to the security manager; Independently ascertains if Safety Culture and SCWE aspects are understood and maintain at all levels of the organization, and reports results to the Security Manager.
Attend associated fleet and/or industry meetings/conferences to ensure alignment and compliance; Attend site meetings; Acting as the point of contact for upcoming industry and fleet changes; Coordinate and support Force on Force drills; Observes and verifies that weapons handling is performed IAW approved training and fleet governance procedures.
Supervise employees; Ensures industrial safety is a top priority; Participate as part of the interview panel for all open security positions; Participate in level set; Participate as the Co-Op Committee Chairman; Assist on duty Security Supervisors with miscellaneous projects and out of the ordinary shift occurrences; Reviewer of security personnel issues.
Act on behalf of the Security Manager when directed; Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position:
High School diploma or GED is required, or equivalent work experience.
Desired: Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Engineering or other discipline generally associated with plant operations.
Minimum experience required of the position:
5 years of supervisory/management experience in Nuclear Security at a nuclear power plant.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position:
Technical proficiency in Nuclear Security or the ability to acquire it rapidly. Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation. Desired: Proficiency with current computer business applications. Outstanding communication, conflict management, and change management skills.

- Coordinating the maintenance and repair of security vehicles, equipment, PAIDS, and other strategy related items.
- Managing the testing and operational use of all security equipment.
- Key and lock custodian and program manager.
- Manage the Fatigue Rule Management System (FRMS).
- DPIC alternate.
- Security records custodian
- Reviewing fleet OE and providing changes as applicable.
- Acting as the Security Software Quality Assurance (SQA) lead.
- Developing site OE for Fleet distribution.
- Alternate security administrator on the security computer.
Programs Sr Supv Job Duties:
- Department housekeeping lead
- Maintain and implement the Security Uniform Program
- Maintain security personnel equipment.
- Managing all physical security projects
- Maintaining the Security computer, PAIDS, vehicles and other auxiliaries the defensive strategy relies upon.
- Lead for Security benchmarks
- Lead for Fleet initiatives

- Generating department quarterly reports
- Documenting department performance indicators
- Responsible for CAP for the department
- Lead for RCE/ACE and self-assessments
