Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation and maintenance of aerial phone and fiber cable.
- Operate bucket trucks and climbing gear safely and effectively.
- Conduct new builds and maintain existing lines, including lashing and pole transfers.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working at heights up to 40 feet.
- Travel throughout the state, primarily Southeastern WI, Monday through Friday, returning home on weekends if not nightly.
- Proven ability to climb telephone poles and operate bucket trucks.
- Strong understanding of aerial phone and fiber cable installation techniques.
- Excellent safety awareness and commitment to following safety standards.
- Previous industry experience or lineman schooling is preferred.
- An insurance-acceptable Class A CDL license is preferred, with compensation adjustments for obtaining this license after hire.
