QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- High School Diploma
- Valid WI driver’s license
- Must display leadership ability, and is able to train and supervise people
- Must be English literate and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA)
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
- Previous health care setting experience preferred
- Previous experience in long term care
1. Remove and collapse cardboard boxes from units, dietary and purchasing and transport to recycling area.
2. Keeps exterior entrances clean in a safe manner paying particular attention to front, side and emergency entrances.
3. General floor cleaning and maintenance of floor finishes and surfaces including buffing, stripping and waxing, carpet extraction and power scrubbing of all areas throughout the facility.
4. Removal and transport of trash, infectious waste, hazardous and linen from designated areas.
5. Performs special and extra duties as instructed by supervisor, including, but not limited to: window cleaning, wall washing, furniture moving, unloading trucks and delivering supplies.
6. Maintains and delivers proper level of supplies such as floor wax, waste bags and any other essential supplies that are needed throughout the facility.
7. Operates equipment appropriately such as floor scrubber, buffer, scrub machines and carpet extractor.
8. Removal and disposal of all confidential information in accordance with State and Federal law.
9. Reports to work when scheduled and demonstrate flexibility of personal time when requested to come in on a scheduled day off.
10. Work time is used productively, equipment and supplies are taken care of properly (cost conscience use of supplies, disposable/non-disposable/recycled), breaks and lunches are within the time allotted. Job Description
