Overview:
We are seeking a full-time, year-round Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining and repairing the properties we manage, ensuring high standards of functionality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on buildings and grounds in assigned areas.
- Repair and maintain residential housing units, including doors, windows, and building exteriors.
- Conduct basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Address and complete assigned work order repair requests efficiently.
- Repair and maintain appliances.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting.
- Must be capable of lifting, moving, carrying, pushing, and pulling items over 100 lbs.
Job Qualifications:
- Prior experience in property maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong technical skills in basic repairs and appliance maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Must be available to manage the 24/7 emergency line one week per month.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
