Job Overview
We are seeking a personable service coordinator for a growing outdoor power equipment dealership. This individual would be responsible for customer contact and overseeing the service and repair of outdoor power equipment in a technician shop. Ensuring the technicians have all the parts needed for a repair and know which unit to work on next. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, ensuring the highest quality of service, and driving sales within the department.
Your mechanical knowledge and experience in small engines and outdoor power equipment will be crucial in guiding your team to success.
Duties
- Work with the service team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Gather all parts and complete work orders.
- Communicate with customers and technicians throughout the process from an initial estimate to ordering parts and completing the repair.
- Foster positive relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
- Monitor performance metrics to evaluate team effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist when necessary at the parts counter and with inventory.
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge is essential; familiarity with outdoor power equipment and estimating processes is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to align team goals with overall business objectives while promoting a collaborative work culture.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
