Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and care.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and equipment.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards to ensure quality and hygiene.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and sales tracking.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience with point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Understanding of food safety practices and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
