What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Varsity Lacrosse Assistant Coach position at Holy Child?
Holy Child is an all-girls, Catholic, independent, college-preparatory school for grades 5-12 in Rye, New York. We are looking to add a varsity lacrosse assistant coach to join our varsity team. Proven success as a player or coach is strongly encouraged of applicants. A positive attitude and good sense of humor are a must! This is a coaching-only, competitively paid, part-time position.
Duties include:
- Implement instruction and training programs to prepare student-athletes for competition; this will include plans for experienced and brand-new players
- Collaborate with Varsity head coach to plan, organize and run daily practices
- Attend any/all practices and competitions at the direction of the Head Coach and/or Director of Athletics
- Supervise student-athletes during all team activities; travel with the team(s) to and from away games.
- Communicate effectively with parents and students via Holy Child email account
Typical practice times are:
- Season starts late February 2024, 3:30-5:00 pm or 4:45-6:45pm Monday- Friday; occasional Saturday games
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $3,800.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
