Job Description - Server
A Server At Holy Cow Idaho will be the Ambassador of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences.
Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. You must enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace to maintain this position.
Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers from seating to departure.
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Familiarize yourself with daily specials and convey to customers.
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Take and serve orders
- Perform table touch utilizing the 2 minute rule after meals are delivered.
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers, Hosts, kitchen/ bar staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment in a timely manner
- Pre bus and bus tables

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High School degree is an asset

- Proven restaurant serving experience
- Familiarity with a point of sale system.
- TIPS or other restaurant training program.
- Alcohol training and familiarity with beer and wine verbiage.
