We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with critical medical conditions.
Shift: Full-Time Nights
Responsibilities:
- Using Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance, and applies nursing process, to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education, and continuum of care planning.
- Effectively communicates fundamental patient and family information to health care team.
- Leads Code Blue and Rapid Response teams.
- Responsible for providing and coordinating interdisciplinary patient care, utilizing nursing process.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current license from Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State as Registered Nurse (RN).
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association; additional life support training, as applicable to unit requirements.
- Minimum one (1) year of ICU RN experience (preferred).
