Job Title: Surgical Technologist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment. Under the direction of a licensed clinical professional, you will work in a clinic or practice setting.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Room setup and patient preparation
- Prepare rooms with appropriate instruments, sutures, supplies, and equipment; open sterile supplies and arrange sterile setups for operations
- Perform office tests and administrative duties
- Assess supplies and equipment for procedures as required by surgeons' preference card
- Demonstrate knowledge and skill to set up an operating room with proper equipment and instrumentation for a specific procedure
- Notify the circulator of any equipment or supplies that may be missing or in need of repair
- Practice cost containment by opening only minimal supplies necessary for procedure
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from surgical technician program preferred
- BLS is required
