What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Processing Technician Full Time position at Holy Cross Hospital?
This is a Full Time position with benefits working the evening shift. 2p-1030p
Job Summary:
- Cleans, inspects, assembles and sterilizes instruments and other materials according to prescribed procedures and techniques.
- Stores, rotates and insures the instruments and other items are labeled correctly.
- Distributes clean and retrieves soiled instruments, rental equipment and other materials on a scheduled or emergency basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Central Service Technician course.
- At least 1 year of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterilization.
- Computer knowledge.
