Kennel Assistant Manager

Responsibilities: KENNEL MANAGER and other shifts

We are hiring for multiple shifts! ADULT/MATURE for most shifts

Assistant Kennel Manager = 1-8-9:30 pm Weekends and 2/3 weekdays

Evening Cleaner = 6 pm to 1 am or done

Office = Varied Hours

Kennel Attendant= Varied Hours

Join The Holy Dog Team! Our amazing staff need just a few more to join us in the care of Fairbanks' amazing pets!
- Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, medications and exercising
- HEAVY EMPHASIS ON CLEANING sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal living areas, outside areas, dishes laundry, mop buckets, trash etc

- Monitor the health and well-being of animals, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff
- bathing , nails and brushing animals
- Performing all extra services handle animals safely and securely during their stay at the kennel
- Interact with pet owners, providing excellent customer service and answering any questions or concerns

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred but not required, we will train
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and small mammals
- Familiarity with dog breeds and terminology is beneficial
- Can get stuff done quick and efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- $15- $20 an hour.
