Description
- Carries out the formal education mission of the Church and promotes Christ's values as expressed in Scripture and in Tradition.
- Encourages academic excellence in all students through motivation and self-discipline
- Implements the Diocesan curriculum and is current with educational practices.
- Inspires students to reach their highest potential. Cooperates with colleagues in enhancing the religious character of the educational experience provided for students.
- Recognizes the importance of communication and cooperation between the school, parish, and the home and maintains open communication with parents and administration.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Holds a Florida Teaching Certificate or is certifiable for the State of Florida.
- Has the ability to stand and walk independently and can carry objects of 50 lbs. or more.
- Is able to use technology to promote learning.
- Can maintain calm in a crisis.
