Description
- Carries out the formal education mission of the Church and promotes Christ's values as expressed in Scripture and in Tradition.
- Supervise and assist teachers in meeting instructional goals and maintaining high teaching standards.
- Review and provide feedback on lesson plans to ensure they align with curriculum guidelines and school objectives.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching strategies.
- Act as a liaison between teachers and administration, addressing concerns and ensuring lesson plans and teaching methods align with state and school standards.
- Collaborate with teachers to enhance curriculum development and instructional techniques.
- Support teachers in using data-driven strategies for improvement.
- Develop and implement professional development programs to enhance teacher effectiveness.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to new and existing teachers.
- Organize workshops, training sessions, and peer collaboration opportunities.
- Ensure teachers meet deadlines for submitting lesson plans, grades, and other required documentation.
Requirements
- Holds a Florida Teaching Certificate or is certifiable for the State of Florida
- Five years teaching experience
- Proficiency in curriculum development, instructional strategies, and teacher evaluation
- Has the ability to stand and walk independently and can carry objects of 50 lbs. or more.
- Is able to use technology to promote learning.
