Role Description
The Media Production Associate provides creative, operational, and technical support to the production team. Working under the guidance of the Production Manager and Production Team Lead, this role involves producing and editing video and audio content for social media platforms, as well as operating production equipment for live radio and internet broadcasts. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with excellent oral and written communication skills. They should be able to manage projects and tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality and meeting deadlines. Applicants must submit a cover letter and a video demo reel. Responsibilities
- Produce and edit daily video content for social media platforms (Must provide video demo reel)
- Produce and engineer live shows, podcasts, and live video streaming
- Collaborate with on-air hosts, screen calls, produce show promos
- Produce and edit radio spots, encore episodes, and show intros
- Day-to-day production and engineering tasks.
- Work on special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the Catholic faith and teachings
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Audition, Photoshop)
- Experience in creating engaging multimedia content
- Exceptional computer skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and creative thinking abilities
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience
- Willing to work extra hours (evenings and weekends) or cover alternate shifts when necessary
- Ability to travel, valid driver’s license (infrequent travel).

Compensation Transparency
Salary/Wage Range: $42,000-$53,000 (The final offer may vary based on experience and qualifications).
At-Will Employment
Employment with The Station of the Cross Catholic Media Network is at-will, meaning either the employee or employer may terminate the relationship at any time, for any lawful reason.
