Duties
- Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure effective patient care delivery.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Oversee the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support in areas such as DME (Durable Medical Equipment) management and trauma medicine.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in occupational health and memory care.
- Assist in procedures including cardiac catheterization, suturing, and dialysis as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and care activities.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license with relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor nursing staff.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and trauma medicine protocols.
- Familiarity with DME processes, cardiac catheterization, dialysis, and memory care practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
