Mental health associate

Position Summary :

The Mental Health Associate (MHA) is responsible for performing duties necessary to maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu.

Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, the MHA will assist the nurse with care of patients whose needs do not require complex nursing skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education : High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience : Experience or training in the mental health or medical field preferred.
• Certification / Licensure : BLSCOAP within 30 days of onboarding
• Other : Must be able to successfully clear a background check, including a criminal search. Use or possession of a firearm and / or other weapons is prohibited.
