What are the responsibilities and job description for the Varsity Assistant Lacrosse Coach position at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School?
Holy Innocents Episcopal School is seeking a Varsity Assistant Lacrosse Coach. The coach is responsible for educating student athletes so that they achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork in the lacrosse program at HIES. This is a part-time position.
HIES is the largest Episcopal Parish Day school in the country, offering a fully accredited college preparatory program for students age three through 12th grade. HIES is located north of downtown Atlanta between I-75 and GA 400.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Head Varsity Lacrosse coach to support various aspects of the program including training, program development, practice planning, and meet preparation
- Ensures compliance with GHSA rules and regulations
- Conducts and attends athletic department staff and coaching meetings
- Supports the schools mission by fostering a love of learning, respect for self and others, a faith in God and a sense of service to the world community
