We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in healthcare finance. The Financial Analyst will assist in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis to support key business decisions.
What You Will Do
- Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Analyze departmental budgetary results and prepares variance schedules.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize financial processes.
- Develop dashboards and financial models to provide actionable insights.
- Participates in special projects as they come up for the Manager, FP&A and VP of Finance
- Assists the Manager, FP&A in compiling information to prepare the costs reports for Medicare, tax returns, audits, and other internal and external reporting requirements.
- Completes other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting required
- 0-3 years experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic financial modeling).
- Knowledge of financial statements and key financial concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
