Description
Holy Redeemer Catholic School in Kissimmee is seeking a Full-Time Custodian to be responsible for and assist with ensuring a clean and sanitary learning environment. Responsibilities include all cleaning and sanitation of the facility (including school, office, kitchens and cafeteria, and Social Hall). Job requires that instructions, that are specific in nature, be followed very closely. Job entails a heavy workload with a well-established routine.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma; related experience preferred.
- Position requires the incumbent to be on his/her feet for extended periods, repeated lifting, bending and flexibility; utilizing equipment/machinery to accomplish the work (including but not limited to ladders, vacuum cleaner, electric scrubbers/buffers, mops, brooms, blowers, etc.); lifting heavy equipment.
- As with all employees, the successful candidate must be able to successfully pass Diocesan background check and Safe Environment Test.
- Requires an appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings.
- Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church.
- Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the Diocese.
