Are you an early riser with a passion for preparing delicious meals and making a difference in the lives of others? Holy Spirit Retirement Home is looking for a Part-Time Morning Cook to join our mission-driven team!
Who We’re Hiring:
- Job Title: Morning Cook
- Schedule: Part-time position, shift begins at 5:00 AM. 25 hours a week.
- Pay: $15.00–$16.50 per hour, based on experience.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and cook meals, snacks, and beverages following dietary guidelines and individual needs.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet our high standards.
- Assist in menu planning and food inventory management.
- Follow sanitation, safety, and portion control standards.
- Clean kitchen equipment, dining areas, and maintain overall kitchen organization.
- Deliver food trays and snacks to resident rooms or events, as needed.
- Report concerns or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Support dietary staff and assist with other duties as assigned.
