What are the responsibilities and job description for the 5th-8th Grade English/Language Arts Teacher position at Holy Trinity Catholic School?
Holy Trinity is seeking an experienced and passionate teacher for our Academy Language Arts (5th-8th grade) for the 2025-26 school year. This position also has the possibility of teaching grade-level Religion in their homeroom. We challenge our students with higher-level classical literature to prepare them for high school and beyond. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in teaching English language arts, be able to create engaging lesson plans, and be strongly committed to helping students succeed. The successful candidate will also be able to motivate and inspire students, create a positive learning environment, and differentiate instruction based on student needs.
Salary is dependent on teaching experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Encourage student participation in class discussions and activities.
- Utilize technology to enhance instruction.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Provide guidance to students on writing assignments and other language arts related tasks.

Pay: $32,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
