What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian/Janitor position at HOLY TRINITY CATHOLIC SCHOOL?
Holy Trinity Early Childhood Center in Fort Madison and West Point, Iowa is looking for a custodian. This is an evening shift that normally starts at 3:30 pm and is approximately 6 to 7 hours an evening. Times are flexible. The custodian will be responsible for janitorial needs at Holy Trinity ECC and report to the Early Childhood Director.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- General cleaning, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning, restroom cleaning, dusting, and trash removal
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat, lift 20 lbs. – 30 lbs. and be on feet for long periods of time
- Must adhere to the Holy Trinity Catholic's safety policies to create a safe work environment for everyone.
Position Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be organized, self motivated, and have a minimum of one year experience in the custodial field, working knowledge of computers including experience with; Microsoft office products and google suite applications is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience working in an educational facility is preferred.
Potential candidates will be required to pass a background check and complete any required training prior to start date.
Pay commensurate with experience.'
