Elementary Classroom Teacher (Full-time)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to help students achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance student learning
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns or issues
- Foster a safe and respectful classroom environment that encourages positive behavior and good citizenship
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Experience working with elementary school students in a classroom setting
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
- Experience with special education or inclusionary practices is a plus
- Proficiency in math, reading, writing, and other core subjects
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders
