POSITION STATUS: 10 month, Part-time, 20 hours per week
POSITION PURPOSE: To provide lunch service for all Upper School students.
PREFRRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to coordinate with the school-wide lunch program coordinator, vendors, and families to ensure that students are provided with their purchased meals and snacks.
REPORTS TO: Ancillary Programs and Revenue Manager
PERFORMANCE ABILITIES:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and may frequently walk on slippery or uneven surfaces. The noise level in the work environment is often loud.

- Food industry experience.
- Obtain Food Manager, First Aid & CPR Certifications.
- Knowledge and application of modern office practices and procedures.
- Ability to work with data in spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Sheets

- LUNCH COORDINATOR
- Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain the kitchen and eating areas to meet all health standards, including, but not limited to, food temperature logs, equipment temperatures, product expiration dates.
- Participate in health department inspections and address all deficiencies in a timely manner.
- Evaluate food items, equipment, operating supplies, and procedures used in Tiger Café.
- Work with members of the Ancillary Manager and IT teams to prepare and distribute lunch menus for student and faculty/staff.
- Work with the school-wide Lunch Program Coordinator Ancillary Manager to order supplemental foods as needed from food service vendor. Sysco.
- Analyze food service operations for cost effectiveness.
- Coordinate meal and supply services with outside vendors and maintain good vendor relationships.
- Facilitate timely distribution of meals within established lunch periods.
- Process vendor invoices in a timely manner and in accordance with established procedures.
- Establish and maintain appropriate levels for supplies and additional food items.
- Assist with ordering food or other supplies from established vendors for special events and coordinate orders for kitchen supplies for administration as needed.
- Place charges into student billing system daily, and input and edit meal selections in student billing accordingly. Work collaboratively with Business Office team.
- File appropriate inspections, paperwork, vendor contracts and schedules with the Ancillary Program Manager.
