Childcare Aide

Concordia Lutheran Elementary and Learning Center is GROWING and looking for a caring and compassionate Childcare Aide to join our team in Riverton, Utah. Our beautiful facility is conveniently located right on Redwood Road, just north of Bangerter Highway. CLC is celebrating 10 years of service to the community and offers child care for children infant through elementary school ages. We are also a fully accredited elementary school currently enrolling grades K-6th grade.

Our church and school are one in ministry and partner together in connecting people to Jesus. We are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with children of all ages and believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and loving environment that is their home away from home.

Job Responsibilities

• Day to day care and supervision for children 6 weeks-12 years old
• Support teachers with daily curriculum
• Participate in games and activities to help children learn and grow
• Help children work through daily challenges in a safe environment
• Assist with meals and snacks
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards for the facility
• Provide a supportive, safe environment for the children of CLC to thrive

By the grace of God, we are at enrollment capacity in our current facility and are currently in the process of constructing a new building for our permanent sanctuary, Here are a few other fun features currently at our school:

Success in this position is defined by the children of your classroom loving their time at CLC! Positive relationships with the children enrolled at CLC and their families is very important. Surrounding children with a positive environment where we instill values, encourage manners and share the love of Jesus is our top priority.

The biggest challenge of this position are the physical demands of caring for childrens’ needs each day. This position is the opposite of a desk job and your days are the best kind of busy and full!
