We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our waste removal and fresh water delivery operations. This role oversees 12-18 employees and ensures the efficient pickup and dumping of sewer waste from large work sites while also managing fresh water distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency in waste removal and water delivery.
- Manage and schedule employees, ensuring adequate staffing and smooth workflow.
- Supervise truck operations running 10 hours per day, 7 days a week (on-call availability required).
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate logistics, optimize routes, and manage fleet maintenance.
- Communicate with clients and team members to ensure high-quality service.
- Report directly to company owners and provide operational updates.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Management experience in waste removal, logistics, trucking, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with fleet maintenance and operational logistics is a plus.
- CDL preferred but not required.
- Ability to oversee a team in a fast-paced environment and maintain operational efficiency.
