Athletics - Assistant Baseball Coaches

Responsible for all aspects of coaching at the intercollegiate level. Works in conjunction with the Director of Athletics in arranging game and practice schedules.  Conducts all practice sessions and coaches at all games.  Accompanies team on all trips to and from the college. Recruits students/athletes and performs necessary administrative duties.

ASSISTANT COACH

1. Assists in the coaching of the varsity sport.   Includes the responsibility for pre-season and in-season practices, game responsibilities.
2. Supervising student athletes.
3. Aids in recruiting, reporting results to media.
4. Other duties as described by the Coach and/or Director of Athletics.

REQUIRED:   Coaching experience in the required sport at the college or high school level; college graduate preferred; Demonstrate sound knowledge of the game; ability to teach fundamental skills and work within an organized framework; Ability to represent the educational goals and philosophy of Holyoke Community College.Part-Time, Non-Benefited Position

Hourly Rate:  Stipend

Hours:  Up to 18.5 hrs./week; Daytime, evening, weekend availability required.
