What are the responsibilities and job description for the Proctors – HCC Testing and Workforce Certification Center position at Holyoke Community College?
Provides assistance to our test site via the administering and proctoring of all testing offered by or through the HCC Testing and Workforce Certification Center.

- Associates degree.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience; good technical trouble-shooting skills;
- Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work independently and responsibly as well as part of a team;
- Able to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff, student body and professionals;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced but quiet environment with minimal supervision, learn detailed procedures and handle a reasonable amount of stress;
- Ability to think quickly and make appropriate decisions based upon test center and vendor requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience working in a post-secondary environment and administering paper/pencil and iBt exams;
- Excellent computer trouble-shooting experience (hardware/ software/networking).
- Experience working with students with disabilities.

Hourly Rate: $16/hr; no benefits
Hours: 10-12 hrs/week (up to 18.5 hours during peak testing dates). Daytime and weekend availability required.
