What are the responsibilities and job description for the Care Team Support RN position at Holyoke Medical Center?

We are seeking an RN to provide addiction consultation services for individuals with substance use disorder in the emergency department; complete substance use disorder evaluation (SUDE) in the emergency department for individuals who have had opiate overdose; complete acute treatment service (ATS) bed searches in the emergency department on the weekends; provide resources, education and appropriate referrals for individuals experiencing substance use disorder; assist the care team and Center for Behavioral Health inpatient psychiatric unit in other duties as assigned by the clinical coordinator and/or nurse manager.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree in Psychology; Massachusetts RN license; at least one year working in the field of substance use disorders or behavioral health; knowledge of community resources; solid understanding of multiple pathways of recovery and harm reduction model
