Medical Director of Operating Room and Peri-Operative Services
Report To : Executive Team Member
Holyoke Medical Center is searching for a Medical Director of the Operating Room and Peri-Operative Services. This will be a practicing physician leader, anesthesiologist (preferred) or a surgeon who will provide medical oversight for all operations in the operating room. The physician will have 50% administrative and 50% clinical responsibilities. This is a high level leadership opportunity that will report directly to a member of the executive team with the goal to coordinate and assist in the effective operations of the operating room and related areas for both medical and supervision.
Qualification & Job Requisites
Education : Graduate of an accredited school of medicine; completion of a residency program in either anesthesia or surgery at a U. S. Hospital
Licenses / Registrations : Current license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; current DEA license and Massachusetts DPH controlled substance registration; Board certified anesthesiology or surgery. Anesthesiology preferred.
Experience : A practicing experienced physician, anesthesiologist preferred, or a surgeon
