What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Ophthalmic Technician/Assistant position at Holzer Health System?
Position Summary: Certified Ophthalmic Technicians and Assistants are directly accountable and responsible to the Clinical/Branch/Practical Manager for assisting the Ophthalmologist in all phases of outpatient care and always stay readily available to the physician. Present ideas to improve the department so patient gets positive feeling about department.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have successfully completed JCAHOA certification exam and maintain hours for recertification
- Current CPR certification.
