What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Prescreen Professional position at Holzer Health System?
Position Summary: This individual will be responsible for providing Mental Status examinations and prescreen evaluations of psychiatric patients determining patient’s appropriateness for the need of acute inpatient psychiatric admission. The individual is also responsible for coordinating the admission, transfer or discharge of prospective patients.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Licensed Professional Counselor or Registered Nurse. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the behavioral health field preferred. Must hold a valid driver’s license in the state of Ohio.
