Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Manager in the S. Houston area to oversee and expand our market presence within a designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer acquisition & retention skills, a background in sales, and the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to drive business development and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective territory sales strategies to maximize revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for new business development.
- Clearly communicate our value proposition to unlock new referral sources and develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends to identify potential areas for expansion or improvement.
- Call on hospital accounts to nurture clinical champions and develop new referral sources.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products/services.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining ongoing communication with clients.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback for management review.
- Utilize cold calling skills to engage potential customers in the hospital, clinic and/or physician office setting. Conduct effective discovery sessions with clinical and executive targets, and tailor our service offering to meet their needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of medical sales experience, preferably with a background selling into Neurology speciality and/or hospitals
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in diagnostic testing, laboratory, medical device and/or other outpatient healthcare services.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success thru recognition - President's Club and high sales rankings at current and/or former employers.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other technology tools to track sales activities and customer interactions.
- A trailblazer (self-starter) who is motivated by achieving results and driving success within their territory, and possesses "hunter mentality" with the ability to drive change through multiple stakeholders.
