Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager to join our team at Homan Associates, a leading distributor of HVAC equipment and supplies. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers in the Westchester County area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compiling lists of prospective customers and identifying sales opportunities based on industry research and market trends.
- Traveling through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and provide product demonstrations.
- Negotiating pricing and quotes with customers while maintaining profit goals of the company.
- Achieving or exceeding territory sales budget and contributing to overall regional sales budgets.
- Preparing sales contracts and managing customer data in our computer database.
- Investigating and resolving customer complaints and issues related to deliveries and products.
Requirements:
- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school.
- Minimum of three years' experience in HVAC wholesale distribution sales.
- Technical knowledge of HVAC equipment, parts, and accessories.
- In-depth understanding of warehouse, purchasing, data processing, and operations procedures.
Skills:
- Begineer to intermediate user of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to learn new software quickly and accurately.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
Compensation:
$120,000 per year, depending on prior experience.
