Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder linens, towels, and other items.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for delicate fabrics.
- Inspect all items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
- Ensure that all laundry supplies are stocked and report any shortages.
- Follow safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
