```Job Overview:
Home Again Consignment shop is currently seeking a part-time employee with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of our team. This position will require the ability to lift and move heavy pieces of furniture and provide support with various tasks related to U-Haul rentals and customer service. Our hours are 10 am-5 pm Monday-Friday and 10 am-3 pm Saturday.
The ideal candidate will have previous lifting/moving experience and customer service skills.
Duties:
- Assist customers with U-Haul rentals and returns in person and by phone
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving issues
- Load furniture items into customer vehicles with care
- Perform data entry tasks to update rental information
- Load /Unload box truck without damage to inventory
- Move furniture throughout the building as requested
- Maintain clean equipment and follow thorough maintenance checklists
Skills:
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations
- Proficiency in data entry and administrative tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Flexibility to work outside in adverse weather conditions
