Caregiver

Family looking to hire an ON- Call female companion caregiver. This is a unique caregiving job to round out our strong caregiving team. Family is wanting to pay a caregiver for 24 hours of care to be on call for when our team is short staffed(pay guaranteed for 24 hours weekly). Schedule: 12 hour Day or Night Shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed . If care needs exceed 24 hours in a week family will pay at hourly rate.

This is a unique opportunity for a caregiver who has the flexibly to make themselves available when needed. Family highly respects and values caregivers and would give as much notice as possible . There will be times and weeks when no help is needed . However the expectations is the the caregiver will make every effort to keep their schedule flexible.

This role is perfect for someone who values flexibility in their work schedule, does not have extensive travel plans, upcoming big life changes, or high level commitments that would interfere with availability, and where you and your skills are highly valued.

Our family member has round the clock care, and sometimes the team members needs a break . If you think you have the flexibility and experience as a caregiver we would love to talk to you.

Pay is $30-$32/hour depending on skill set and experience

Other skills include: knowledge of care for limited mobile clients , transferring and external catheter care . Client is a two person transfer and an assistant will be provided. Clients weight is approximately 127lbs. Family would be thankful for experience with end of life care and hospice .

Ideal candidates have Previous experience working as a private caregiver, home health aide, caregiving, home aide, personal care aide, or as a personal caregiver, personal assistant , household assistant , family assistant , companion can make you a good fit for this role.

This position requires background checks and does involve physical demands such as lifting, standing for long periods, and assisting with mobility. Must have solid transportation, and proven track record of reliability in attendance and punctuality.
