Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including hospice care, assisted living, and direct support for individuals with autism. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive and respectful care.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Monitor and record vital signs as part of patient observation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Document daily activities, changes in client condition, and any concerns that arise.

Skills
- Experience in hospice care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- Proficient in meal preparation that meets specific dietary requirements.
- Knowledge of vital sign monitoring techniques.
- Strong observational skills for recognizing changes in patient conditions.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care with respect for individual dignity.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.
- Understanding of direct support principles within assisted living environments.
