Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver provide exceptional care to our elderly clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong caregiving skills, be dependable and reliable. Must be able to follow directions concerning the care of the client. Must be able to drive and have transportation, must be able to work 12 hour shifts and be able and willing to communicate clearly and effectively with office staff and the Lead Caregiver concerning the client at all times.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and assistance to clients, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Monitor and document the overall well-being of client.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client, promoting health and hygiene standards.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by staff or clients promptly and effectively.
- Prepare meals for client.
- Housework, dishes, laundry, run errands, shopping, transport client.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Caregiving.
- Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's.
- Knowledge of care plans, first aid, and how to fill out care notes effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A commitment to providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need.
