We are immediately seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Monitor and document client health status, including any changes in condition or behavior.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Offer direct support for individuals with special needs or disabilities in various settings, including home community care and group homes.
Skills
- Proficient in cooking nutritious meals that cater to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Experience in home health care, nursing homes, or social work is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of patient observation techniques to identify changes in health status.
- Ability to provide direct support to clients with varying levels of independence.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
