Summary
As a Caregiver at HCA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of older adults by providing compassionate and personalized in-home care. This position is essential to our mission of delivering quality support tailored to each client's unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Monitor and document patient health and behavior, reporting any changes to the Care Team.
- Assist clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to client dietary requirements.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Support clients with memory care and dementia-related challenges as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Care Team to develop and update individualized Care Plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Strong observational skills to monitor patient health effectively.
- Ability to work compassionately with individuals with disabilities and age-related conditions.
- Knowledge of memory care techniques and senior care best practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
