Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs as required, ensuring any changes in health status are communicated to the appropriate personnel.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules while maintaining accurate records of medication administration.
- Support residents with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring individuals safely.
- Foster a positive and engaging environment by encouraging social interaction and participation in activities.
- Respect resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of residents.
- Assist individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing care plans tailored to their unique needs.
Experience
Ideal candidates will have experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in assisted living or group home settings. Familiarity with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and an understanding of resident rights are highly desirable. A compassionate demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential for success in this role.
