At Home Care by Black Stone, a part of LHC Group, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Assistant to provide high-quality care to our patients in Eaton, OH and the surrounding area.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic individual to support our patients with their daily living needs, including personal hygiene, household functions, and medication management. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our patients and their families, promoting independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide support with household tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation
- Accompany patients on outings and engage in activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation
- Monitor patient's condition and report any changes or concerns to the agency director or accounts manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in caregiving or a related field preferred
- Minimum six months experience in home care or a related field
- Current CPR certification required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
