We are hiring for the important job of Billing and Collections Coordinator supporting both Medicare and our Private Duty business lines working at our Corporate Office location in Clearwater M-F (this is NOT a remote position). As a locally owned and fast growing home health agency, we are excited to hire an experienced Billing, Medicaid LTC Billing and Collections person that is looking to make a positive change in their career.
Home Care Now's mission is to improve our client's lives through the delivery of exceptional service and our continual improvement of their home health experience. This position is an integral part of our company's success serving the vulnerable members of our community. As a Billing and Collections Coordinator, you will be responsible for weekly claims and Medicaid LTC claims billing, and collections activity. You will work directly with our Medicaid LTC Insurance companies, HHAexchange and Tellus aggregators, and our private duty clients to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections. This involves problem solving, data analysis, proper EMR set up in ContinuLink and Axxess, and ensuring claims are paid correctly and timely.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Payroll processing back up
- Electronic Visit Verification in EMR systems
- Upholding the agency values and supports our mission statement
- Adhers to Medicare and Florida ACHA home health rules and regulations
- All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience with claims billing and resolving claim denials at a private duty home health agency.
- Experience processing payroll
- EVV verification experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Florida ACHA home health rules and regulations.
- Excellent problem solving abilities and creative thinking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive upbeat attitude.
- Experience with home health agency software programs and EVV mobile AP solutions.
