Provide Diagnostic Evaluations and Intervention Programs
Our Speech Therapists evaluate patients and create an intervention program to assist patients with speech, language, learning, hearing or feeding/swallowing disorders. The Speech Therapist reports diagnostic findings and provides education on the patient's intervention program to the clinical team and also to the patient's family members. Speech Therapists demonstrate leadership and participate in IDT meetings. The Speech Therapist always incorporates principles of cultural competence and family-centered care in their clinical services.
Previous home health experience is preferred, but not necessary. Reliable transportation is required. 100% travel is necessary on a daily basis.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Candidate must aspire to provide the highest quality patient care.
- Candidate must have a minimum of two years work experience as a Speech Therapist in a multi-disciplinary setting.
- Candidate must be self-motivated, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Candidate must have strong oral and written communication; organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Candidate must communicate well with doctors, nurses and other healthcare personnel and agencies.
- Candidate must be detail and goal-oriented individuals.
- Candidate must be able to evaluate the mental, emotional and physical status of patients.
- Candidate must understand federal, state and local healthcare standards and regulations.
- Candidate must possess current state licensure and CPR certification.
- Candidate must possess a basic understanding of technology including the operation of tablets and computer applications.
