**Overview:**
A Production Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation facilities. Their primary responsibilities include labeling, portioning, meal bagging/kitting, and shipping, all while adhering to rigorous floor safety and food safety standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving direction from Supervisors or Production Leads to fulfill production requirements;
- Labeling packaging at a consistent rate;
- Using measuring utensils to portion ingredients accurately;
- Maintaining strong attention to detail during meal bagging/kitting;
- Adapting to task transitions as needed.
Shipping Expectations:
- Working efficiently with high attention to detail;
- Collaborating with team members to achieve shipping goals.
General Obligations:
- Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) while on-site;
- Maintaining a clean work environment and assisting with end-of-day cleanup;
- Following safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques;
- Supporting the company's efforts to maintain its food safety system (SQF) and quality programs.
This position involves no travel.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma preferred but not required;
- Six months or more of experience in a production/warehouse setting preferred;
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and collaborate effectively with others.
