Fleet Compliance Administrator
Overview
The Fleet Compliance Administrator will primarily be responsible for ensuring the Company is in compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulation in regards to incidents and driver qualification files. The position will also be directly involved with maintaining reports as well as being an asset to enhance the Company into becoming a safer fleet to operate.
Responsibilities
- Review all background checks within Company criteria
- Compile reports weekly to ensure compliance with Driver Qualification (DQ) files in accordance with FMCSA and DOT regulation
- Verify documents daily to ensure DQ files are up to date
- Ensure all drivers who are operating a Company vehicle are completely qualified and have all required documentation on file
- Audit files and report out when documents are needed
- Ensure the Company’s documentation for the ELDT program is current
- Be able to present said reports to team
- Catalogue required information for all DOT Recordable and on road accidents
- Enter pay into system for trainers
- Assist with training functions, training events, and training material
- Maintain and organize documentation
- Follow-ups on inquiries to necessary personnel
- Enters information into company system(s)
- Drug test results
- Provides information on fleet related operational and regulatory data utilizing both internal and third party source information
- Assists with the development of fleet related presentations and forecasts
- Participates in special projects as assigned
- Maintains safe practices at all times, including accident reporting and follow-up
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Remain current on DOT regulations; Safety, Hours of Service, Maintenance, Driver Qualification, Controlled Substance and Alcohol
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have the ability to communication effectively with all levels of employees, customers and vendors
- Must have organization skills, detail oriented and ability to handle multiple priorities to meet required deadlines
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Must have strong written, verbal communication, and analytical skills
