What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time - Production Associate position at Home City Ice?
This is a part time position with an opportunity of staying on full time if you prefer. We have options to work part time now and full time in the summer months if that works for your schedule. We offer flexibility to work around your school schedule or be a second job or whatever your situation may be. We prefer to work anywhere from 4 to 8 hours shifts pending on the season and the demand.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor production equipment for 7lb and 20 bags.
- Maintain a clean and organized work space.
- Safely operate an electric pallet jack to move pallets of ice from the bagging room to the freezer.
- Performing maintenance on portions of production line to ensure smooth production.
Skills:
- Must be able to lift at least 20lbs repeatedly through an entire shift.
- Electric pallet jack experience preferred, but not mandatory. We will train.
- Looking for someone who can thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated and resourceful.
- Mechanical knowledge is a great benefit.
- Must be a good listener and communicator
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check.
- Weekend availability.
- All employees are required to work summer holidays as those are our busiest days.
